Raptor 700 keeps cutting out and back firing :( Just took me an hour to get home due to this problem. The quad starts ok but wont even idle sometimes and sometimes to seems to idle ok but when i try and drive off it gets about 20 metres then shudders and cuts out and sometimes it backfires.

Still kept stalling so I called him out again. He kept insisting I had bad gas in the mower even though I always get it fresh from the station right before I mow. I could`nt keep it running more than 10 minutes, Then 5 minutes. I have a 2007 Ranger 700 XP that has started hesitating and stalling out in the lower RPM range. It will do it more in High than Low Range. If I "pump" the gas pedal when it does this it will clear up and then reach top speed around 44 mph before the limiter kicks in. It will hestitate and bog down trying to take off from a standstill.
